Calumet has 2 platforms for finding information !!

  • FACTS Family Portal

    • CHECK ON GRADES AND ASSIGNMENTS FOR YOUR STUDENT

      • THE PLACE FOR FAMILIES OF CALUMET TO PROVIDE OR CHANGE INFORMATION ABOUT THE STUDENT

      • RESOURCE DOCUMENTS AND WEBFORMS ARE FOUND HERE ( copies of the Handbooks, Policies, Physician notes, Surveys, etc)

  • Calumet Website

    • THE PLACE TO VIEW POLICIES, SCHOOL INFORMATION.

    • FAMILIES INTERESTED IN OUR SCHOOL WILL FIND ALL THE THINGS THEY COULD HOPE TO FIND OUT ABOUT OUR SCHOOL.

    • FAMILIES HOPING TO ENROLL AT CALUMET, WILL BE INTRODUCED TO THE PROCESS AND THEN DIRECTED TO THE FAMILY PORTAL FOR THE APPLICATION/ENROLLMENT PROCESS.

      • CALENDARS AND UPCOMING EVENTS WILL BE POSTED IN BOTH PLACES.

In the past, we used PowerSchool for Attendance, Grades, and Collecting Student Information. Parents ( and students) only had the option to view current grades with PowerSchool

Now we have the FACTS Family Portal. Not only Grades can be followed there, but parents can do other things with Student Data there.

  • update contact information

  • update Pick Up lists

  • submit webforms

  • interact with surveys

  • Upload or Download documents

  • Create, or navigate the School Directory

When we communicate with parents about the interface needed for information or items requested - please realize the FACTS Family Portal is the place to go. It is User-Enabled, meaning, you create a profile ( a username and a password) and have permissions to see or update the information about your student. https://logins2.renweb.com/logins/ParentsWeb-Login.aspx

The Website https://calumetchristianschool.org/ Is for information viewing ONLY.

Parents can save the Family Portal link ( it's called ParentsWeb in the web address ), or click the link found on the Calumet Website.

If you haven't looked into the Family Portal - take a minute to look around. It will be increasingly useful throughout your student's time at Calumet, and similar platforms are used in public elementary and high schools.

You will use the Parent Log in button, and select FACTS Family Portal.

When getting set up - you'll need the District Code - CALU-OH

FAQ's start here :

  1. Can I take my kid out to lunch ? - Yes, just sign them out in the office and we will get them to you. Lower Elementary Grades start their lunch break at 11:33. Upper Elementary and Middle School starts at 11:53.

  2. Why am I not seeing emails ? - Our Student Information System does NOT play well with others. IF you believe you are not getting important emails - check your SPAM folder.

  3. Can I bring in a Special snack for the class on a Special day ? - yes - just check in with the teacher, and the more self contained the better!

  4. Should I take my kids forgotten items (lunch, instrument, backpack, folder etc) to their class ? No- bring the item(s) to the office, and we will notify them that the item has arrived.

  5. What is the cut-off date for starting KINDERGARTEN ? August 1. Students should be 5 years old by August 1 to enroll in Kindergarten.
